I am a middle school teacher in Philadelphia, and this will be my second summer working at the Lewes Yacht Club Sailing Camp.
In the role of Waterfront Coordinator, I ensure that the children are safe when they are on shore, coordinate activities for inclement weather, communicate with the staff on the water, as well as provide information for members who stop in or call to inquire about the LYC youth sailing program.
Additionally, I teach stand up paddle board lessons to children and adults, and rent beach umbrellas, chairs, paddle boards and sailboats. I enjoy the opportunity to assist LYC members of all ages in their experience of both water sports and beach relaxation, and am looking forward to another summer on the bay at Lewes Yacht Club!
